THE SACRAMENT OF PENANCE
Wednesday at 9.30am, Saturday at 10.30am;
Ministers of Holy Communion are available to visit parishioners who are sick at home.
The Parish Priest is available to administer the Sacrament of the Sick by request.

Currently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are no Public Masses or other Services scheduled. (See details of online Masses above).

In Remembrance of those we Love

The St. Joseph’s Book of Remembrance is held in a display case in the west transept of the church. It records the names of all those requested by parishioners, and friends of St. Joseph’s as well as an address to identify the family home. All named are remembered in the prayers of the parish.
Application leaflets to add names are available in the church beside the Book of Remembrance in the transept – or alternatively details may be obtained by contacting the Parish Priest or Deacon.

All donations will go towards the upkeep of the church and our work in the parish community.

Holy Mass is offered on the first Sunday of the month for all those whose names are inscribed in the St. Joseph’s Book of Remembrance.

Nurse Johanna Daniels R.I.P.
It is with deep regret that we announce the loss of one of our beloved parishioners Johanna Daniels, due the Corona-Virus. Johanna, who was originally from South Africa, had been working as a nurse in Pitkerro Care Centre in Dundee for a number of years. She died on April 13, having fallen ill at the beginning of the month. The Care Centre’s home manager, Prisca Katsande, said: “Everyone at Pitkerro Care Centre has been left heartbroken following the loss of nurse Johanna Daniels. “She was an incredibly kind-hearted, selfless and dedicated person who will be missed by all who knew her. Johanna was a regular attender at Sunday and weekday Masses in St. Joseph’s. A private funeral for Johanna was was held at Dundee Crematorium on 30th April. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen.
