Spiritual Communion Prayer
of St Alphonsus
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar. Sing, my tongue I love you above all things and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite myself wholly to you now and forever.
Amen

Book of Remembrance

The St. Joseph’s Book of Remembrance is held in a display case in the west transept of the church.     It records the names of all those requested by parishioners, and friends of St. Joseph’s as well as an address to identify the family home.  All named are remembered in the prayers of the parish.
Application leaflets to add names are available in the church beside the Book of Remembrance in the transept – or alternatively details may be obtained by contacting the Parish Priest or Deacon. All donations will go towards the upkeep of the church and our work in the parish community.
Holy Mass is offered on the first Sunday of the month for all those whose names are inscribed in the St. Joseph’s Book of Remembrance.

Did you know…

When we gather together at Mass, we are one body. We have one faith, one Lord, one Baptism. There is no longer European, African, American, Asian. We are one family of God, one community of believers. Each of us is important in the community. We have something to share. Just your presence is precious and valuable.
